He is said to have attacked dozens of corpses and killed two women: 67-year-old Britain has now received a life sentence. A DNA path took investigators on the right track.
A British man has been jailed for life for killing two young women and abusing more than 100 bodies in morgue. A court in the UK city of Maidstone on Wednesday sentenced a 67-year-old man to life in prison for his confession. Health Minister Sajid Javed welcomed the decision.
Nearly 35 years ago, the perpetrator murdered two young women in Southeastern County of Kent and then abused them. After decades of being in the dark by investigators, a DNA test finally took hold of the man last year. The inquest revealed that he had aborted a total of 102 bodies in mortuaries at two hospitals over the years. Police were able to identify 81 of them. Some of the dead were still minors.
Being an electrician, that person had access to the morgue. He videotaped his necrophilic actions and hid the records in his home.
“The corruption you have committed shows that you have burned your conscience,” the judge said. She described the culprit as an “eagle”. “You’ll spend every day of your life in prison.” The judge said his confession sounded like an empty gesture.
