The views are spectacular: the cruise ships are on a quiet bay near the Brazilian community of Capitolio. Suddenly a large rock loosened and fell on three boats.

According to the fire department, at least five people were killed in the tragedy and 20 are still missing. Authorities had earlier said at least 32 people were injured.

At least 40 firefighters, including a diving team and helicopter, have been stopped, according to authorities. Two of the three boats that were attacked sank.
