Saturday Night Live He will be another veteran member of the cast when it premieres in the 48th season.

Chris Reed, who has been with the show since 2017, is leaving. He became the eighth cast member to leave the long-running NBC sketch show before season 48 debuted on October 1.

Redd’s departure follows the departure Eddie Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, and Kyle Money – They all left at the end of Season 47 in May – and summer exits Alex Moffat, Melissa Villasenor and featured player Aristotle Athari.

He will present a comedy special title on HBO Max, Chris Reed: Why do I like this?later this year and being bundled with Universal Internet Mon, which is under development. He also co-created a never-before-executed project by Michaels’ Broadway Video and Audible.

SNL It has not been officially announced which cast members will return for season 48; As of press time, the remainders from last season are Michael Che, Mickey Day, Chloe Feynman, Heidi Gardner, Colin Jost, Ego Nodim, Cecily Strong, Thompson and Bowen Young and featured players Andrew Desmocks, James Austin Johnson, Bonky Johnson, Sarah Sherman. The show also added special players Marcelo Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker.
