my enthusiastic friends,
I wanted to give you a long overdue Black Adam update regarding the character’s future in the new DC Universe.
James Gunn and I are in touch, and Black Adam won’t be in the first act of storytelling. However, DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to continue exploring more valuable ways to use Black Adam in future chapters of the DC Multiverse.
James and I have known each other for years and have always rooted for each other for success. It was no different now, and I will always cheer for DC (and Marvel) to win and win big.
You guys know me, and I have pretty thick skin — and you can always count on me to be direct with my words.
These decisions made by James and the DC leadership represent their vision of the Communications Boards console through their creative lens.
After 15 years of relentless hard work to finally make a Black Adam movie, I’m so proud of the movie we’ve brought to audiences around the world. I will always look back at fans reacting to Black Adam with immense gratitude, humility, and love.
We did a great job.
To the very passionate and vocal fans of the Black Adam / Super Hero genre – I love you, thank you, and I will always listen and do my best to entertain you.
What a great month it has been – now we all need some Teremana!
Have a productive week and happy holidays to you and your family!
