Eli Annie’s mother, Annie, responds to critics after the Bengals Cornback cooked by ram receivers – and then by fellow players on social media – in a 23-20 loss to the Rams in the 2022 Super Bowl.
On Monday, Apple’s mother responded to a Twitter sports reporter who made a joke about Apple’s lack of coverage in The big game.
“This amazing experience provides coverage in my first Super Bowl game, unlike Eli Apple,” Bally Sports reporter Annie Agar chirpadding a photo of her at the SoFi Stadium.
Apple responded, “I can believe it. The word on the street is you’re catching big balls. The mainstream media stays on that bull.”
The mom added a photo of reality star Tiffany Pollard with the caption “You should have just sat there and eaten.”
she also called out by PFFclaiming that the site “made up a complete lie…was the first trend. Other sports media picked up the story, and retweeted it without checking or verifying it…all for the sake of hate and entertainment.”
Agar is known for her comedic sports commentary and viral videos, where she toasts teams and individual players.
While stalking Agar, Apple appears to have ignored players across the league who ridiculed his performance after Super Bowl 2022.
That list included reception heads on a large scale Mikol Hardman and Terek Hill The latter is no stranger to exchanging insults with Apple. The Bengals players mocked Hill as a “baby” after Cincinnati’s win in Kansas City.
Before that, Apple strangely attacked Giants and Saints fan bases on Twitter. It all added up to a giant goal on the back when he failed on the Super Bowl stage.
Apple’s most obvious mistake came when he ceded a penalty in the Rams’ recent campaign to pull off Cooper Kupp’s jersey, giving Los Angeles their first on the 1-yard streak. Cobb ended up scoring the match-winning goal over Apple.
Apple – who was drafted 10th overall by the Giants in 2016 – became the only player to allow multiple passes as the main defender during the last four Super Bowls, According to the NFL on CBS.
Time will tell if the Bengals decide to stick with Apple as one of their best defensive weapons after a lackluster end to the season.
