Frank Fritz had a stroke

“American Pickers” star Frank Fritz has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

Former Fritz star Mike Wolf announced the news today Instagram.

“I’ve been very special last year about Franks [sic] Wolf wrote “The Life and Journey He Was Taking”. “There have been a lot of opinions regarding my friendship and Frank and the show but now is not the time to put things right. Now is the time to pray for my boyfriend.”

“Frank had a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts,” Wolf continued. “Candid, I pray more than anything that you can get through this just fine. I love you friend.”

as such TMZ Reportedly, Fritz walked away from the History Channel show about a year ago to deal with health issues. He needed back surgery and had a history of Crohn’s disease.

The takeback show, in which hosts find what they believe to be old junk and revive it to how it was before, has 23 seasons and 343 episodes, with a new episode airing every Saturday.

Fritz became a part of “American Pickers” in 2010. The last episode in which the 56-year-old appeared was broadcast in March 2020.
