He didn’t even stop a small child …
Four people have been killed in a deadly shooting in the US state of Florida on Sunday.
The offender shot and killed a man and a woman at a home near Lakeland that night, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told a news conference. Incredible: He also killed a baby in the woman’s arms.
The eleven-year-old girl was shot several times, but survived. Another woman was killed in another house on the property.
Judd said the attacker opened fire with police officers on the premises and eventually surrendered. The man was wearing full riot gear, including bulletproof vest.
Dozens and hundreds of shots were fired during a gun battle with rushed police officers. Judd: “He came for a fire. We don’t know why.”
According to initial findings, the shooter was a 33-year-old man who had served in the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. The man admitted that the victims begged him to let them live and shot them anyway.
The shooter also claimed to have taken methamphetamine. According to initial investigations, no connection was found between the perpetrator and the victim: “We know we had a madman with multiple weapons shooting at innocent people.”
According to Judin, a car appeared in front of the house one night and the residents of the house called the police because they said, “God sent me to talk to one of your daughters.”

The attacker was injured in a gunfight with police. After he surrendered, he was taken to hospital. There he tried to take a gun from a policeman and then remained silent.
