This fall he may have lost his life.
A cyclist was attacked by a crocodile after falling in the state of Florida.
Police said on Facebook that the man was at Halpathyogi Regional Park in Stuart and lost control of his bike. He fell on a body and was attacked by an alligator.
The animal hurt him badly, but the man was able to get rid of it. Eventually he was rescued by passersby and taken to hospital by helicopter.
A witness told a WPTV broadcaster that the man had taken root at a depth of one and a half meters. He then bandaged the wound with a dog slant: “I hope he’s fine.”
The person was an experienced cyclist, the broadcaster quoted another man. But he had problems with his tire in a corner and landed almost directly on the crocodile.
Crocodiles are particularly aggressive at this time of year: “People walk high, you are in nature. You need to be aware of those around you, especially at this time of year. The incident had already taken place on Monday.
However, severe injuries caused by crocodiles are rare, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. However, many live on water and are more active in the water. This can lead to frequent contact between crocodiles and humans and a greater potential for conflict.
