Kim Kardashian: Had to Educate West After his Meeting with Trump

Kim Kardashian has said that she had to ‘educate’ her husband Kanye West after his meeting with US President, Donald Trump. The 38-year-old reality star spoke at Variety’s Criminal Justice Reform Summit in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Explaining the situation about her Husband’s visit to the President at White House she remarked, Kanye West is very misunderstood and the worst communicator. Besides, when we both talk about it, we have very similar politics. He likes Donald Trump’s personality, but does not know a lot about politics.

Apart from explaining West’s visit to the White House, Kim Kardashian spoke about the criminal justice reform, only months after she played a pivot role in helping Alice Marie Johnson get her life sentence commuted by President Trump.

The star looked glamorous at the event as she carried an all-black appearance, with a black top over a black jacket along with a fitted pair black pants and black boots. She was accompanied on the red carpet as well as on the panel by Jones, who carried a dark blue blazer over a light blue top.

Kim Kardashian has now joined hands with an organization called #cut50, co-founded by Jones, the bipartisan organization is engaged towards cutting the prison population in all 50 states. Partnering with White House Senior Adviser, Jared Kushner #cut50 put together a proposal called as the First Step Act, which initially passed in the House of Representatives, however failed in the Senate.

Both Kim and Jones are currently reworking on the bill, and the organization has received support of over 50 celebrities including Kanye West, Alyssa Milano, Courteney Cox, Alicia Silverstone and more.

Jones also expressed that he is proud to stand with such incredible group of artists, content creators, and athletes that are doing their every bit in urging Congress to pass the First Step Act.

Other celebrities who made their presence felt at the occasion included Allison Williams, Dave Navarro and Debra Tate.
