Humanity must reign above all, and Kim Kardashian has readily proven that it is her utmost priority, post saving two lives. She was honored at the inaugural Gift of Life Marrow’s Registry’s Inaugural ‘One Huge Night Gala’ on Monday night. The 37-year-old was credited for her effort, where she used social media campaign to her advantage.
Personifying the definition of Beauty, Kim looked stunning as she wore a plunging figure-hugging pearl colored silk gown at the event.
In 2016, Kim Kardashian was also presented with the Impact Award in recognition for her support of the Hope4Adam Campaign in 2016.
The campaign began in an ode to find a matching donor for a young father named Adam Krief, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of blood cancer. Therefore, the campaign went viral looking for a live-saving bone marrow transplant.
However, after a failed attempt to find a match among a 20-million-people worldwide registry, it caught Kim’s eye, who shared the campaign and tweeted it to her 60 million followers.
Unfortunately, the campaign also failed to find an exact match for the transplant and he passed away. Nonetheless, Kim’s involvement added another 10,000 donors to the list of Gift For Life. Today, it has been able to find four donor-recipient matches and one transplant.
Kreif’s widow, Leah did the honors of presenting Kim Kardashian with the award. The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star even met some of the donor recipients she helped link up.
Her prayers now extend-out-to her photographer friend, Marcus Hyde who was involved in a serious car accident. Besides, nothing could be said at this moment about Hyde, who was driving his Mercedes AMG CLS in Malibu on Monday Morning, when his car reportedly lost control and went over an embankment.
As reported by TMZ, the LA based artist suffered severe head injuries and had to be airlifted to the Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center.
