The Kardashian-Jenner tribe has been giving serious family goals since the beginning of their American television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, the latest move by Kim Kardashian West proved that the family stands united in everything that messes with one of them.
Kim broke into the defense of her younger sister Kylie Jenner, against the rumors against Travis Scott, Kylie’s husband. She slammed the YouTuber Christian Adam for igniting cheating trolls about the “Sicko Mode” rapper, by purposefully imitating him with another woman and spreading the image.
On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian tweeted, “I hate that I am bringing attention to this but this is absolutely disgusting that you would find this funny to mess with Travis & Kylie who just started a family together.”
Earlier this week, the social media was stirred up by a single image of what appeared to be Scott, getting cozy with a woman in swimsuit on a balcony. Although the face of the guy in the picture was not clearly visible, he had a complete look of the rapper, with his signature braids.
The upheaval caused by the image was so severe that Scott himself had to comment on the matter. He wrote, “TMZ ain’t post this (expletive). Trolls working hard today… Try again u trollsssss. Me and my wifey sturdy…Only got love for my wife. No time to be wasting. Try again.”
However, the speculations were still cooking despite the denial from the rapper. The air was finally cleared on Wednesday, when Adam posted his video “We Fooled the Internet w/ Fake Travis Scott Cheating Photo”on YouTube.
During a 17-minute video he boasted, “That photo you seen of Travis Scott allegedly cheating on his significant other Kylie Jenner was completely staged and we were the one to do it.” The video gave a behind-the-scenes look into the faked paparazzi image.
Through the image, Adam attempted to prove “how gullible the internet is” and urged “not to believe everything you see online.” He studied the mannerism of the rapper and died his own hair for the same.
Adam also added that the prank was “NOT made to intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or the entire Kardashian family.”
After Adam’s revelation, Kylie Jenner slammed the prank through her Instagram stories, saying “Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real.”
On the other hand, Kim Kardashian said, “This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong!”
Scott responded to Adam’s expose post on Instagram, commenting, “Shaking my (expletive) head.”
Scott, 26, and Jenner, 21, become parents to daughter Stormi 10 months ago. Although they have not announced a marriage yet, both of them have referred each other has “hubby” and “Wifey.”
The prank by Adam came as a flashback for the Kardashian-Jenner family, who went through a similar situation. Earlier this year, accusations were made on Tristan Thompson and footage of him cheating on pregnant girlfriend Khloe Kardashian was released.
