The super popular Marvel Cinematic Universe has wanted Keanu Reeves to join Marvel Studios from a long time. Promoting Spider-Man: Far From Home in London, Kevin Feige, president of the Marvel team, portrayed his eagerness and desire of including Reeves in their team.

54-year-old Reeves gained fame for his roles in several blockbuster films, including the romantic horror Let Me In. Being an actor, musician and guitarist, Reeves has earned critical acclaim for his acting and has garnered several awards. He is often compared to the 38-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal, an American actor who started working as a child and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Reeves’ popularity is clearly visible with the movies he has done. Recently, he acted in John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum, which was released on May 17. The movie has since then earned $277 million throughout the world, while $149 million domestically. The fourth part of the movie is expected to release by March 2021.

Apart from the hit movies, Reeves was also seen in a Netflix series Always Be My Maybe. He has also given his voice in the upcoming animated sequel of Toy Story 4, for Duke Caboom, which is a Canadian daredevil motorcycle-obsessed toy.

Impressed by his character of Caboom in the animated sequel, Keanu Reeves said, “The character’s so full of life.”

“He’s a showman, he’s a daredevil. So when he’s on the bike, I was just — like, he keeps doing poses, you know, and he can’t stop. They put it into the film, so it was nice.”

Another project of Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan in a third installment of the Bill & Ted series, which will be launched by August 2020, lies ahead of Reeves.

Following his popularity and his work, Marvel members have been longing for his joining in their team. Marvel’s president said that the members expected Keanu Reeves to have been casted in the upcoming Spider Man movie, while finding the right role for him.

“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige said.

”We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it,” Feige added.

It is a known fact that this is not the first time that Reeves has been linked with Marvel Cinematic Universe. All of his fans have been eagerly waiting for his entry in the Marvel sequels but whether or not he will join rests solely on his will.
