Pope Francis has officially acknowledged the miracle performed by John Paul I. The Vatican announced. This clarifies the way to sanctify a “33-day pope” who is said to have healed a sick woman.
A few days before John Paul I.. May have celebrated his 109th birthday, the way to his sanctuary is free. Pope Francis arranged to recognize a miracle of the dead, which emerged from a communication from the Vatican.
Healing a sick woman
According to the media portal “Vatican News”, a sick woman who was eleven years old at the time was miraculously cured on July 23, 2011 in Buenos Aires, following a call from Jun Paul I. The attempt to return to the late John Paul I for help came from the pastor of the church who attended the hospital.
A miracle is a prerequisite for a beauty. It is not yet clear when the sanctification will take place, as Francis must first set a date for it.
John Paul I was in office for only 33 days
John Paul I was the first pope to choose a double name. He also broke Vatican customs in other ways. Until now, as is the custom of kings, the Pope has said “we” when they speak of themselves. John Paul I said “I”. At Curia’s urging he reluctantly used the portable papal throne. And he freed the Swiss guard from the knee, until then the presence of the pope was mandatory.
Albino Luciani, real name John Paul I, was born in northern Italy in 1912 and the son of a socialist worker who had long served as an immigrant in Switzerland. John Paul I was elected on August 26, 1978, and held office only until his sudden death on September 28, 1978, thus becoming the “33-day pope” in church history.
