Temperatures are rising, corona numbers are dropping, and the vaccination campaign is still in full swing. This makes it easier to travel to many vacation countries – and to return to Germany after the holidays. So nothing stands in the way of summer vacation in Europe. Or? A European Overview:
Spain
The infection continues to worsen. Especially in holiday areas such as the Balearic Islands, the Canaries or Valencia, seven-day events are less common than in Germany. Poland
The neighboring country has been gradually relaxed since May. Shopping centers, hotels, museums and art galleries are allowed to open under certain conditions. Restaurants are allowed to serve guests in the outdoor areas; Indoors it fits with limited efficiency. Fitness studios and indoor swimming pools are also operating again. A maximum of 150 guests are allowed for the celebrations. Masks are needed indoors, on buses and trains.
The ten-day isolation period applies when entering from Germany and other EU countries. This does not apply to travelers who have not had a negative corona test on entry for more than 48 hours. Even those who have been fully vaccinated and those who have been proven to have recovered are exempt from isolation. However, when entering the country by plane, you still have to submit a negative test.
Denmark
What has long been true for those living in Shelswick-Holstein now applies to all travelers from the Federal Republic of Germany: German vacationers do not have to be isolated after arriving in Denmark. However, at the border, you must show a negative corona test and test again after entering the country. Fully vaccinated Germans and many from the European Union and Schengen countries have been allowed to enter without testing and isolation since May.
There are very few restrictions within Denmark: shops, restaurants and pubs such as gyms, museums and cinemas are open for a long time. From Monday you no longer have to wear a mask unless you are on a bus, train or metro.
