Donald Trump border wall

Trump’s ‘New Rhyme’ is the Worst Cover-Up in History of the Border Wall

in Politics

The Issue of the border wall is now more than a month old, and as most American’s blame the Republicans for this erratic move, Donald Trump continues to stand by his mantra of building the wall.

The only progress though made on the issue is the newly added theme, and a well-versed rhyme to describe the same old demand.

“BUILD A WALL & CRIME WILL FALL!”, the President wrote in his daily morning Twitter address. “This is the new theme, for two years until the Wall is finished (under construction now), of the Republican Party. Use it and pray!”

A couple of minutes later to remove all the lingering doubts about what he ‘really’ demands, Trump tweeted his rhyme again.

According to the people who have been in the room when the President tweets, he does not behave like a grown-up, and gets visibly excited about his ideas. Doing so, he peers over his phone with a “watch this” expression in utter excitement.

The wall rhyme therefore, comes from the same old world of dubious stands; which Trump has been spreading using his social media since the last 2 years. The White House press office though did not respond to a request for a comment about the origin of the rhyme. However, a senior aide to Trump said that he came up with the idea by himself and credited it as a “marketing genius.”

One side of the story, that Trump always dictates, is highly biased and so are his claims. The second side, which he never wants the people to see, begins with the fact that he builds his demands on the grounds of lies.

Therefore, an analysis was done on the issue, and it clearly showed that despite his repeated affirmations, construction has not yet started on the border wall. Trump quoted earlier on Thursday, “under construction now” in his morning tweet, and the stand thus needs an immediate clearance.

Customs and Border Protection has begun or completed several projects to replace old fencing with new barriers, but no additional miles of the wall have been built yet.

Apart from the claims about the construction of the border wall, Trump for a very long period of time has called on the immigrants as the ‘criminals’. However, studies have found that immigration do not contribute to the crime.

So, what is this border wall serving? Lies, or personal interests of the President, the answer seems clear;, the personal interests.

On baseless claims and defending numbers that even do not exist, the President’s stats are indeed the worst cover-up in the history of the border wall.

Standing by his people, not bashing them to satisfy his ill deeds, and lastly and most importantly, not putting the future of the nation at stake are the qualities of a true leader. Ironically, he has done it all, and much-much more, unabashedly.
