Ukraine-Russia war: New talks likely today | – News

Ceasefire talks today?

Medinsky, the head of the Moscow delegation, told the Russian news agency that a possible ceasefire could be reached. Prior to the talks, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called for a ceasefire to bring civilians to safety in eastern Kharkiv and Sumi.

Germany wants to supply more weapons

Germany apparently supplies more arms to Ukraine. At Bundeswehr’s request, the Federal Ministry of Economy approved the replacement of 2,700 “Strela” anti-aircraft missiles, according to several news outlets. On Wednesday, the German government handed over 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 ground-to-air missiles to Ukraine.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has launched an investigation into possible war crimes in Ukraine. ICC chief investigator Kareem Khan said on Wednesday evening that the investigation would begin “immediately”.
