Meghan Markle received a text from Beyoncé saying she “admires and respects her courage” after meeting Oprah.

The Duchess of Sussex read a text message she received from the pop star in behind-the-scenes clips from new episodes of Doku’s hit Netflix series.

Queen Bay wrote that she believes Meghan was chosen to break generational curses.

Megan said: ‘Beyoncé is just a text message. I still can’t believe she knows who I am.

‘Just checking in, just casual,’ Harry quipped. Go call her.

Megan replied: ‘No, it’s okay, she said she wanted me to feel safe and protected, she admires and respects Courage, and believes I was chosen to break curses that have been passed down from generation to generation and that need healing. ”

Harry replied, “That’s fine.”

The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan – part of the Sussexes’ multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix – aired last week, with the final three-hour episodes airing starting today.

The six-part Sussexes show became the streaming giant’s most-watched documentary in a prime week, debuting with 81.55 million viewing hours.

Another famous friend who appears to support Meghan in the documentary was tennis star Serena Williams.

She said her friend was “brave” for choosing music from her culture for her wedding.

At the wedding, the Kingdom Choir gospel group performed Stand by Me and Light My Little One.

Speaking briefly in the Netflix documentary, Serena said, “To have it.” [Meghan’s] The culture represented at that wedding was amazing. loved it.

“And I think he was really brave and he broke boundaries without even trying.”

Megan’s friend Drew Purohit, entrepreneur and podcast host, added, “We had this huge moment where Oprah, Idris Elba, and his partner and I briefly looked at each other and had a little laugh.”

No one needed to say anything because everyone knew exactly the layers of symbolism that were happening that day.

The wedding featured the Kingdom Choir, created especially for the big day and conducted by award-winning Karen Gibson.

Speaking in the documentary, Prince Harry said there was “no going back” on the idea.

“Everyone was like, ‘Gospel choir, oh that’s great,'” he said. And again there was a little more help from my dad with that.

Meghan added: ‘He said they could take the best singers from gospel choirs and put them together – and that’s how the Kingdom Choir was born.

‘They were great.’
